HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.7725 of 2006 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to treat the date of absorption of the petitioner into Grant-in-Aid, Grade-II Telugu Pandit with effect from 01.01.1995, instead of 01.07.1998.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. Since the petitioner has retired from service, this Court is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a fresh representation seeking to treat the date of his absorption into Grant-in-Aid, Grade-II Telugu Pandit with effect from 01.01.1995, instead of 01.07.1998, and upon such representation being received, the respondents are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
