THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.25706 OF 2012 ORDER:

This Court quashed notice in W.P.No.6861 of 2011 imposing garbage charges on the ground that the respondent-Corporation has no power or authority under the provisions of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955 and accordingly allowed the writ petition. The same is not disputed by the learned counsel for the respondents.

Inasmuch as the subject matter of lis in this writ petition is also similar to that of the one considered by this Court in WP No.6861 of 2011, this writ petition is allowed for the reasons and in terms thereof. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
