ORDER:

The petitioner is a driver in the respondent Corporation. After conducting disciplinary proceedings, the petitioner was visited with punishment of deferment of annual increments for a period of two years with cumulative effect by order, dated 18.10.2014, of the disciplinary authority. The appeal filed by the petitioner was rejected by order, dated 23.12.2014. The petitioner thereafter claims to have filed a review before the reviewing authority. Contending that the said review is yet to be disposed of and challenging the order of punishment, this writ petition is filed.

2. When the matter is taken up, both the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent Corporation agreed for disposal of the writ petition with a direction to consider the review filed by the petitioner on 01.09.2015.

3. Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the reviewing authority to consider the review filed by the petitioner on 01.09.2015, subject to its maintainability and pass appropriate orders permitted by law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of
