THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI WRIT APPEAL NO.1845 OF 2005 JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} This appeal, under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent, is preferred against the order of the learned Single Judge in WP.No.7892 of 2005 dated 08.09.2005.

In the said Writ Petition, the petitioner sought a mandamus to have the order passed by the second respondent on 29.03.2005, blacklisting the petitioner as a contractor, to be set aside. The Learned Single Judge, by his order dated 08.09.2005, dismissed the Writ Petition as devoid of merits. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner in the Writ Petition has carried the matter in appeal. A Division Bench of this Court, by its order in WA.MP.No.8312 of 2005 dated 29.09.2005, observed that they did not see any reason to grant an interim order. The matter has been pending on the file of this Court for the past twelve (12) years without any interim order being passed in the Writ Appeal. Sri V.V.N.Narayana Rao, learned counsel for the appellant, states that no further orders are required. This submission, in effect, would mean that the order of the learned Single Judge does not necessitate interference.

The Writ Appeal is, therefore, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
