THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION NO.14581 OF 2006 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent in not considering the objections of the petitioner on the special notice dated 14.5.2005 and not passing an order on the objections of the petitioner, as arbitrary and illegal, and consequently, to direct the respondent to pass orders on the objections raised by the petitioner on the special notice dated 14.5.2005. 2.

Heard Sri P. Narahari Babu, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ancha Pandu Ranga Rao, learned Counsel for the respondentCorporation. 3.

It has been contended by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that exorbitant property has been levied on his property and he filed objections on the demand notice issued by the respondent and without taking into account his objections and without passing any orders thereon the respondent mechanically imposed the property tax, and challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed. 4.

Learned Counsel for the respondent-Corporation has filed a counteraffidavit stating that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner sold away his property and the purchaser of the said property has paid the property tax, and in view of the same, lis in the present writ petition does not survive.

Recording the above submission of the learned Counsel for the respondent, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________ (ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J) 4th April, 2018 Nn
