This writ petition is filed seeking writ of certiorari to quash the impugned punishment proceedings Roc.No.DA3/202/AEO/Eng/2014, dated 10.12.2015 and also for declaring the action of the 2nd respondent for not disposing the appeal submitted on 10.03.2016 as illegal and arbitrary.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri G.Praveen Kumar, learned counsel representing Sri A.K.Jayaprakash, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

It is the case of the petitioner that he filed appeal on 10.03.2016 before the 2nd respondent against the proceedings Roc.No.DA3/202/AEO(Enq)/2014, dated 10.12.2015, wherein punishment was imposed against the petitioner. As the same is not disposed of, present writ petition is filed. In view of the same, the appellate authority/2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand disposed of.
