The subject of the writ petitions is one and same, hence they are heard together and disposed of by this Common order. Both the writ petitions are filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents in constructing the Sulabh Complex. Pending writ petition 24590 of 2006, this Court granted status quo on 24.11.2006. Alleging violation of said order C.C.No.1254 of 2006 is filed.
Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondents on instructions submitted that construction of Sulabh complex as alleged by the petitioners in both the writ petitions has been stopped and for the present there is no such proposal. Recording the aforesaid submission, both the writ petitions and the contempt case are disposed of. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any, shall stand closed.
