THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY CRIMINAL PETITION No.8540 of 2017 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed, by the petitioners/accused Nos.1 to 4, under Sections 437 and 439 of Cr.P.C., seeking bail in Crime No.24 of 2017 on the file of the Station House Officer, Chinturu Police Station, East Godavari district registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8 (c) r/w Section 20 (b) (ii) (c) of NDPS Act.

At the time of arguments, the only relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners is to direct the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram to dispose of S.C.No.134 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the main case.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned I Additional District & Sessions Judge, Rajamahendravaram is hereby directed to dispose of S.C.No.134 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
