Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2.

Petitioner claims to have purchased land to an extent of Ac.1.00 in Survey No.118/2D of Chowdavaram Village Fields, Guntur Mandal and District vide sale deed dated 07.09.2015. According to him, the said land is now shown in the prohibited list of properties restraining him from alienation of the same. Aggrieved by inclusion of the said property in the prohibited list of properties, petitioner made representation dated 30.01.2018 to the District Collector, Guntur District, to exclude the subject property from the prohibited list of properties. He also claims to have submitted application through Mee-seva to exclude the subject property from prohibited list of properties and the receipt dated 12.02.2018 issued by Mee-seva Centre is placed on record as Ex.P1 evidencing filing of application. Alleging inaction on the said application, this Writ Petition is filed.

If such representation is already received by the District Collector, Guntur District, the District Collector is directed to examine the claim of the petitioner for exclusion of the property mentioned in the said representation from the list of prohibited properties and communicate his decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, filed in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
