This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.31 of 2014 on the file of V Additional District Judge-cum-Special Judge for SC/ST Cases, Nellore, SPSR Nellore district.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State. It is brought to the notice of this Court that A3 to A5 in the said S.C., which is arising out of Crime No.69 of 2010 on the file of Vidvalur Police Station, Nellore District, filed Crl.P.No.206 of 2016 to quash the proceedings initiated against them and the same is allowed by this Court on 22.03.2016. Basing on the same footing, the present Criminal Petition is filed by petitioner/A2 seeking to quash the proceedings in the said S.C. against him.

In that view of the matter, the Criminal Petition is allowed and the proceedings in S.C.No.31 of 2014 on the file of V Additional District Judge-cum-Special Judge for SC/ST Cases, Nellore, are hereby quashed against the petitioner herein. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
