THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.750 of 2017 O R D E R :

This Contempt Case is filed alleging deliberate and willful violation of the order dt.06.09.2016 in W.P.MP.No.34699 of 2016 in W.P.No.28007 of 2016 passed by this Court, wherein this Court directed maintenance of status quo prevailing as on that day.

It is stated that construction was being made in spite of the said order by a Contractor engaged by some third parties without obtaining permission from respondents 1 and 2. 3.

Initially notice in Form I was issued to respondents 1 and 2 on 21.07.2017. Thereafter, respondents 1 and 2 appeared and stated that notices under Section 228(1) and (2) of the A.P. Municipalities Act, 1965 had been issued to the contractor. Matter was then adjourned to 10.10.2017 to enable the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the constructions. 4.

It is now stated by respondents 1 and 2 that the pillars erected by the said Contractor in the subject land had been removed on 12.10.2017.

In view of the said action having been taken by respondents 1 and 2, the Contempt Case is closed. The respondents 1 and 2 are directed to ensure that no further

construction takes place, as long as the interim order passed by this Court stands. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
