This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short, 'Cr.P.C.') to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2365 of 2012 on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Cyberabad, R.R. District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. During hearing, learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana, represented that case in C.C.No.2365 of 2012 on the file of IX Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Cyberabad, R.R. District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A IPC and Section 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, was compromised before Lok Adalat and an Award was passed on 13.10.2012 before Lok Adalat.

In view of the representation made by the learned Public Prosecutor, there is nothing to be examined and decided by the Court in the above case.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
