THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.18920 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to declare the action of respondents in not paying compensation to the petitioner for the land admeasuring Ac.4-00 covered by Survey No.379/5 of Rambilli-II, Rambilli Mandal, Visakhapatnam District, acquired for the purpose of establishment of Naval Alternate Operating Base, as illegal and arbitrary.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that in similar circumstances, this Court disposed of W.P.No.12123 of 2008 on 21.01.2014. The same is not disputed by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition.

In view of the same, this Writ Petition is also disposed of directing respondent No.3 - Land Acquisition Officer to conduct enquiry into the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders as per law, after giving due opportunity to the petitioner and the concerned revenue officials, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed. No costs.
