This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioner seeking verbatim the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is hereby prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue order direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS declare the action of the respondents in not registering the petitioner name in the 2nd respondent council as illegal arbitrary and contrary to the Rules framed under the Statute and consequentially direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to register her name in the 2nd respondent council as B.Sc. (Nursing) and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit just and proper in the circumstances of the case."

I have heard the submissions of Sri P.R.K.Amarendra Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Medical & Health (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2, and of Sri Taddi Nageswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent. I have perused the material record.

At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation, dated 05.06.2017, with reference to registration for B.Sc. (N) Course and that when there was no response, the petitioner sought information by invoking the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005, and that in response, the Registrar, A.P. Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary Nurses-Midwives and Health Visitors Council, Government General Hospital (Old), Hanumanpet, Vijayawada, A.P., informed the petitioner by letter, dated 22.07.2016, that his

MSRM, J W.P.No.9415 of 2018 office requested the Government by letter No.APNMC/BSc/3458/2017, dated 12.06.2017, to issue appropriate orders for registration of the petitioner for B.Sc. (N) Course and that directions from the Government are awaited and that in that view of the matter, if a direction is given to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 05.06.2017, of the petitioner, the ends of justice would be met. 4.

Learned Government Pleader for Medical & Health appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 endorses the said submission. 5.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the representation, dated 05.06.2017, of the petitioner, having regard to the request made by the Registrar, A.P. Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary Nurses-Midwives and Health Visitors Council, Government General Hospital (Old), Hanumanpet, Vijayawada, A.P., and pass appropriate orders for registration of the petitioner for B.Sc. (N) Course, as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
