HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE G.SHYAM PRASAD Writ Petition No.26958 of 2016 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition challenging the dismissal of his application by the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal, at Hyderabad, questioning the correctness of an order of suspension.

2. Heard Mr. A.Jagan, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Services (Telangana) appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. On a complaint given by a private individual, a First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, in Crime No.68 of 2016 for alleged offences under Sections 420 and 467 IPC, against the petitioner who is a Village Revenue Officer. Based upon the said complaint, a disciplinary enquiry has also been initiated and the petitioner was placed under suspension on 16-6-2016. The petitioner challenged the order of suspension, but the Administrative Tribunal dismissed the application.

4. It is seen from the order of suspension that a charge memo has been issued. Therefore, it is premature to interfere with the order of suspension. Considering the allegations against the petitioner, the Tribunal dismissed the application filed by the petitioner, in our opinion, rightly. We see no grounds to interfere with the order of suspension. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed. However, the respondents 1 to

4 shall endeavour to complete enquiry within a timeframe of 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, so that the things are not allowed to linger for a long time. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
