When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents has informed this Court that the petitioner is expired on 19.08.2012. Counsel for petitioner also has not disputed the same. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
