THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.9545 of 2018 ORDER:
In this writ petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, filed by the petitioner, the only request is to expedite the investigation into the case in Crime No.62 of 2018, registered on 07.02.2018, pending on the file of Medchal Police Station, Cyberabad, Telangana State, inter alia stating that after registration of the said crime, there is no progress in the investigation.

I have heard the submissions of Sri Anguru Narayana Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2. I have perused the material record. 3.
At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that if a direction is given to the Police Officer concerned to expedite the investigation into the case, the ends of justice would be met.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (Telangana), on written instructions, a copy of which is placed on record, would submit that after the registration of the crime, necessary information as to the caste status/community status of the informant was sought and that the Investigating Officer already examined the petitioner-informant and recorded his detailed statement and that the accused in the crime obtained anticipatory bail orders on 19.02.2018, subject to certain conditions and that
MSRM, J W.P.No.9545 of 2018 the investigation is in progress and that the Investigating Officer will do the needful in the matter, by following the procedure established by law.

Recording the submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Pet Basheerbad Police Station, to complete the investigation, as expeditiously as possible, and file a final report, by following the procedure established by law. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
