THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE P.KESHAVA RAO W.P.No.11392 of 2019 ORDER:

(Per Sanjay Kumar, J) The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the Employees State Insurance Corporation refused to receive the physical copy of the application which was submitted by her on-line on 23.5.2019 for issuance of a 'Ward of Insured Persons' certificate. This certificate was required to enable the petitioner to get admission in MBBS/BDS course under the Insured Persons quota for the academic year 2019-2020. By interim order dated 11.06.2019, this Court opined that the failure to submit the application in a physical form was only a condonable mistake and accordingly directed the respondents to condone the same and issue a certificate of Ward of Insured Persons, in the event the petitioner satisfied the requirements for issuance of such a certificate. Sri P. Srinivas, learned counsel representing Sri B.G.

Ravinder Reddy, learned counsel for the Employees State Insurance Corporation, would inform this Court that pursuant to the aforestated interim order, the petitioner was issued a 'Ward of Insured Persons' certificate. The letter dated 21.6.2019 addressed by the Deputy Director of the Corporation stating to this effect is also produced.

In the light of the above development, the cause in this Writ Petition no longer survives for consideration on merits. The Writ Petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
