This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "...to issue an order, direction or Writ, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in issuing the impugned proceedings dated 22-5-2007 is illegal, arbitrary and unjust and consequently set aside the same by directing the respondents to appoint the petitioners to the post of Junior Lineman without referring to the PF deductions/members in the present vacancies." At the hearing, Mr. G. Ravi Mohan, learned counsel for the petitioners, submitted that the writ petition has become infructuous. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel to dismissal of the writ petition, interim order dt.3.7.2007 passed in W.P.M.P.
