The complaint of the petitioner in this case was as to the failure on the part of the police authorities in registering a crime against the office bearers of Hastinapuri Co-operative Housing Society.

The Inspector of Police, Kushaiguda Police Station, filed a counter-affidavit stating that the petitioner had lodged a complaint on 26.05.2011 against the Managing Committee of Hastinapuri Co-operative Housing Society Limited, Sainikpuri, Ammuguda Village, Malkajgiri Mandal, Ranga Reddy District. However, as the said complaint did not disclose any specific cognizable offence, the Inspector stated that an entry was made in the general diary and the petitioner was advised to file a suit before the competent civil court. The Inspector denied receipt of any

complaint from the petitioner on 24.07.2011.

In the light of the decision taken by the police authorities upon the petitioner's complaint, it is for him to take appropriate action in accordance with law, if he is aggrieved thereby.

Reserving liberty to the petitioner to do so, if he has not already done so, the writ petition is dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
