Mukhi Trinadha Rao v. State Of Andhra Pradesh,
THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WP.No.29858 of 2016 ORDER :
Heard the counsel for petitioners, and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare (Andhra Pradesh), for respondent nos.1 to 4.
2.
The petitioners contend that they have applied for issuance of caste certificate to 5th respondent in 1988, but the same has not been issued to them.
3.
The learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare (Andhra Pradesh), appearing for respondent nos.1 to 4, states that the competent authority to consider the applications of petitioners is the 5th respondent, and since it is difficult to trace out petitioners' applications if petitioners make fresh application for issuance of caste certificate, the respondents will consider the same and take an appropriate decision in the matter.
4.
In view of the said submissions, the petitioners are directed to make a fresh application for issuance of caste certificate to 5th respondent; and the 5th respondent and other respondents are directed to consider the same in accordance with law and communicate their decision thereon to petitioners.

6.
Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No order as to costs.
7.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
