THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.731 OF 2018 ORDER:

By order dated 27.03.2017 in W.P.M.P.No.13355 of 2017 in W.P.No.10764 of 2017, the Court directed to release all the terminal benefits of the petitioner without recovering the amount of Rs.52,672/-. Alleging that the said amount is withheld in spite of the directions issued by this Court, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Learned Government Pleader for Services placed before this Court the material documents to support the contention that the amount is now released and the entire amount of death and gratuity is paid to the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner is entitled to Rs.6,26,142/- towards gratuity. He further submits that initially decision was taken to recover an amount of Rs.52,672/- and therefore an amount of Rs.5,63,954/- was deposited in accordance with the orders of the Accountant General dated 17.03.2018. The balance amount, which was withheld earlier, is deposited pursuant to the orders of the Accountant General dated 18.04.2018. Petitioner also acknowledged the receipt of the said amount.

In view of the same, the orders dated 27.03.2017 passed by this Court in W.P.M.P.No.13355 of 2017 in W.P.No.10764 of 2017 are complied with and the Contempt Case is accordingly closed. _____________________ P. NAVEEN RAO, J Date:06.12.2019 KH
