Heard Sri Mavidi Rama Rao, learned counsel appearing for the

petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Forests appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the 2nd respondent-Divisional Forest Officer, Vizianagaram granted felling permission for Teak trees standing in Survey Nos.123/1-7, 124/2-6, 125/1-3, 34/1-4, 35/1, 4-8, 68/6, 71/2, 4, 18/2-15, 19/1-6, 47/1-4, 48/1, 3-7, 49/3, 46/4, 6, 56/1-5, 50/1-4, 51/1-7, 57, 38/1-5, 39, 40/5, 68/7, 8, 16, 17, 69/1-5, 70/1-8, 71/1, 3, 36/1-11, 35/2, 3, 24/1, 2 and 25/2 of Sangamvalasa village, Parvathipuram Mandal of Vizianagaram district in favour of the petitioner by proceedings dated 28-02-2015.

3. Written instructions obtained by the learned Government Pleader for Forests shows that the 2nd respondent has granted felling permission for 20,000 numbers of Teak trees in the aforementioned land.

The instructions would also further show that the respondents 2 and 3 would provide necessary assistance to the petitioner along with the Police authorities as per the availability of field staff.

In the above circumstances, the respondents are directed to accord necessary protection to the petitioner to carry on the felling activity of Teak trees situated in Survey Nos.123/1-7, 124/2-6, 125/13, 34/1-4, 35/1, 4-8, 68/6, 71/2, 4, 18/2-15, 19/1-6, 47/1-4, 48/1, 3-7, 49/3, 46/4, 6, 56/1-5, 50/1-4, 51/1-7, 57, 38/1-5, 39, 40/5, 68/7, 8, 16, 17, 69/1-5, 70/1-8, 71/1, 3, 36/1-11, 35/2, 3, 24/1, 2 and 25/2 of Sangamvalasa village, Parvathipuram Mandal of Vizianagaram district, basing on the permission accorded by the 2nd respondentDFO, Vizianagaram by proceedings dated 28-02-2015. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly at the stage of admission. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand

closed. No costs.
