This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2609 of 2018 on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad.

charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioner/Accused for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 420 and 506 of IPC.

Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings, learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused restricts his prayer seeking dispensation of the presence of the petitioner/Accused before the trial Court on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioner/Accused is not in dispute, his presence in the above C.C. may not be necessary on every date of adjournment.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the petitioner/Accused in C.C.No.2609 of 2018 on the file of III Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, is hereby

GSD, J Crl.P.No.3075 of 2019 dispensed with, except on the dates when his presence is specifically required by the said Court.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
