THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.36068 OF 2015 ORDER:

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, the petitioner prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly on in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents 3 and 4 in repeatedly insisting the petitioner to produce his son before the 4th respondent police station otherwise threatening him to implicate in the false cases, as illegal, irregular, arbitrary and without jurisdiction and offend Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere in any manner with his life and liberty and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

The Sub-Inspector of Police, Martur Police Station, Prakasam District, filed a counter-affidavit wherein he asserted that the police authorities never pressurized the petitioner to produce his son before them and never harassed him or his family members by threatening them that they would be implicated in false cases. The allegations to the contrary were denied.

The afore-stated stand of the police authorities is taken on record. In the light thereof, no adjudication is warranted on merits. Sri Naga Praveen Vankayalapati, learned counsel for the petitioner, is also agreeable to the disposal of the writ petition recording the stand of the police authorities.
