THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY W.P.No. 2508 OF 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Questioning the action of the 1st respondent in blocking the facility of issuing e-way bills, and other statutory forms, the petitioner has invoked the jurisdiction of this Court.
Sri S.Suri Babu, Learned Special Standing Counsel for Commercial Taxes (A.P.), on instructions, would submit that the facility, which was blocked earlier, has already been unblocked; while the respondents have already issued a show-cause notice under the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956, they would be issuing a show-cause notice under the Andhra Pradesh Value Added Tax Act, 2005 also; and the petitioner would be entitled to avail the facility of e-way bills in the interregnum.
As the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand dismissed in consequence. No order as to costs. _________________________ RAMESH RANGANATHAN, J.
