THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SMT JUSTICE KONGARA VIJAYA LAKSHMI WRIT APPEAL NO.501 OF 2018 JUDGMENT: {Per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan} After arguing for some time, Sri B.Vijaysen Reddy, learned counsel for the appellant, would submit that, instead of adjudicating the appeal on its merits, it would suffice if the appellant is permitted to withdraw the appeal with liberty to request the Power Distribution Company to consider their request for conversion, of the electricity connection, from domestic to commercial purpose at least for the ground floor and first floor of the building which was constructed in accordance with the permission granted by the GHMC; and to approach the authorities concerned, for grant of Occupancy Certificate, if their application for regularisation is allowed, to enable them to obtain electricity connection for the second, third and fourth floors of the building.

Granting liberty to the appellant to approach the Power Distribution Company in case, and after, an Occupancy Certificate is given to them by the GHMC for the second, third and fourth flours of the building, the Writ Appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
