On 17.11.2016, at request of respondents, the writ petition was adjourned to today.
The Assistant Government Pleader reports that instructions are not received from respondents and further submits that this Court in similar circumstances, disposed of W.P.No.39888 of 2015 and the same order can be passed in this writ petition as well. The statement is placed on record.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of following the decision of this Court in WP.No.39888 of 2015 dated 09.12.2015 with a direction to the second respondent to consider for release of the seized vehicles. Since the petitioners have already submitted application to the second respondent, he is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders as per G.O.Ms.No.3 Industries and Commerce (Mines-I) Department dated 08.01.2015 as amended by G.O.Ms.No.15 Industries and Commerce (Mines-I) Department dated 19.02.2015 for release of the seized vehicles within a period of three (3) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
