In this petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., the petitioners-accused Nos. 2 to 6 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 73 of 2012 on the file of the Court of XIV Metropolitan Magistrate at L.B. Nagar, Ranga Reddy District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 506 of IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor has produced the letter dated 07-07-2018 of Sub Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Saroornagar, Rachakonda, and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 06-12-2016 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No. 73 of 2012, has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand dismissed in consequence.
