THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SEETHARAMA MURTI WRIT PETITION No.9593 of 2018 ORDER:

This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed by the petitioners seeking the following relief: "For the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit, it is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order of direction, one or more particularly in the nature of the writ of "Mandamus" declare the action of the respondents in not permitting the petitioners to run their theatres as per the rates mentioned in their applications though the G.O. Ms. No. 100, dated 26.04.2013 issued by the 1st respondent is setaside by virtue of orders passed in WP.NO.18779 of 2014 and batch dated 31.10.2016 allowing the cinema theatres to run as per the rates informed to the licensing authority as illegal and arbitrary and to permit the petitioners to collect price deemed appropriate by them as per their application dated 16-03-2018, 03-03-2018, and 15-02-2018 and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit proper in the circumstances of the case." I have heard the submissions of Sri B.Muralidhar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, and of the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the respondents 1 to 6. I have perused the material record.

Learned counsel for both the parties are in agreement that the issue in the instant writ petition is squarely covered by the orders of this Court in W.P.No.19046 of 2014 & batch and W.P.M.P.No.16343 of 2017 in W.P.No.18779 of 2014.

Recording the statements of the learned counsel for both the parties, this Writ Petition is disposed of for the reasons alike as were mentioned in the orders in the afore-stated writ petition & batch and

MSRM, J W.P.No.9593 of 2018 W.P.M.P.No.16343 of 2017 in W.P.No.18779 of 2014. There shall be no order as to costs.

The Registry is directed to enclose the copies of orders in the afore-stated writ petitions to this order.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order.
