THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.13941 of 2014 ORDER:

The petitioners filed the present application under Section 438 of the Code of the Criminal Procedure (Cr.P.C.), seeking their release in the event of their arrest in connection with Cr.No.171 of 2014 of Anandapuram Police Station, Visakhapatnam District registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 418, 420 r/w.34 IPC. When the matter is taken-up for hearing, the learned Public Prosecutor submitted that petitioner No.1 is not shown as the accused in the case, while A-1 and A-2 appeared before the police pursuant to the notice under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. and they were enlarged on bail after taking bail bonds.

In view of the representation made by the learned Public Prosecutor nothing survives to adjudicate in the present application. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is closed.
