The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that though the currency of punishment has expired, respondent No.3 is not considering her case for promotion to the post of Senior Assistant and as such she made a representation dated 13.03.2018. As no action is taken and that she is at the verge of her retirement, filed the present writ petition. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the Assistant Government Pleader for Services.

Inasmuch as the representation of the petitioner dated 13.03.2018 is pending consideration, without expressing any opinion on merits, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 3rd respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
