Heard.

Alleging inaction on the part of the 1st respondent in considering the petitioner's representation, dated 20-01-2015, the present writ petition is field.

The petitioner alleges that he is the owner of JCB vehicle bearing No.AP-29-BR-7610 and on 17-01-2015 he gave the said vehicle on rent to one Sri Y.Yaswanth Reddy @ Shashidar Reddy for the purpose of cutting waste trees. However, in process of cutting waste tress, Yaswanth Reddy removed 450 toddy trees illegally. Therefore, the vehicle of the petitioner is seized. The petitioner alleges that removing of toddy trees is not within his knowledge. The petitioner also alleges that he made an application before the 1st respondent on 20-01-2015 seeking release of the vehicle and the same is pending. Since the petitioner's application for release of the vehicle is required to be considered by the 1st respondent, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's application, dated 20-01-2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
