THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE T.AMARNATH GOUD WRI T PETI TI ON NO.9564 of 2018 ORDER: (per SK,J) Challenge in this writ petition is to the Garnishee Notice dated 08.03.2018 issued by the Assistant Commissioner of Sales Tax, Hyderabad, the third respondent, requiring the Federal Bank Limited and the HDFC Bank Limited, the fifth and sixth respondents herein, to abide thereby.

By order dated 22.03.2018, this Court granted interim stay of the impugned Garnishee Notice subject to the condition that the petitioner company paid the remaining amount of approximately Rs.25,00,000/- in four monthly instalments, the first of which was to be paid on or before 07.04.2018 and the remaining on or before seventh of each succeeding calendar month.

Sri Vinod Kumar Tadakamalla, learned special standing counsel for Commercial Taxes, State of Telangana, would now inform this Court that pursuant to the aforestated order, the petitioner company has paid the instalments as stipulated within time and the dues in relation to which the Garnishee Notice was issued have been cleared. In that view of the matter, the writ petition does not require adjudication on merits and is accordingly closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
