THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO WRIT PETITION No.8037 of 2010 ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) The validity of G.O. Ms. No. 428, dated 12.12.2008 and G.O. Ms. No.165, dated 7.8.2009, whereby the Government requested the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam to maintain and develop S.V.R.R. Government General Hospital, S.V. Maternity Hospital and S.V. Medical College, Tirupathi, is questioned in this writ petition as being arbitrary and illegal.

Sri P. Harinath Gupta, learned Standing Counsel for the third respondent, would submit that the cause in the writ petition does not survive, as the maintenance was entrusted to the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam only for a period of one year, which has since elapsed. In view of the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
