HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No.7336 of 2014 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A1 to A3 seek to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.70 of 2010 on the file of Judicial First Class Magistrate, Jagtial, Karimnagar, which was registered against them for the offence under Sections 494A IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2) When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 05.02.2018 of Inspector of Police, Jagtial Town PS., Karimnagar District and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 05.08.2015 and therefore, the petition, which is filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.70 of 2010 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3) There is no representation for petitioners.

4) In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
