THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.3540 OF 2018 ORDER:

Petitioners, who are A2 and A3 in S.C.No.141 of 2016 on the file of 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry, which was taken cognizance of the offence punishable under Section 8 (c) r/w 20 (b) (ii) (c) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, filed this petition under Sections 437 and 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail.

During the course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that entire trial is over except examination of the accused under Section 313 Cr.P.C. and requested this Court to issue a direction to the Presiding Officer of the Court to dispose of Sessions Case as expeditiously as possible.

Therefore, without touching the merits of the case and acceding to the request of the learned counsel for the petitioners that the entire trial is completed, the 1st Additional District and Sessions Judge, Rajahmundry, is hereby directed to decide S.C.No.141 of 2016 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
