Smt. G. Swetha v. The State Of Telangana
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.11541 of 2019 ORDER:
With the consent of both the counsel, this Writ Petition is being disposed of at the stage of admission.
The petitioner claims that though she has completed more than 10 years of service, the respondents are not regularizing her services in terms of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Secretary, State of Karnataka and Others vs. Umadevi1.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that appropriate orders be passed in the writ petition directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner and appropriate orders be passed in terms of the law laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in Umadevi's case (1 supra). Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents contends that let the petitioner submit a representation to the respondents, then the respondents would consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation submitted by the petitioner in terms of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Umadevi's case (1 supra). In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit a representation to the respondents within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation made by the petitioner, the respondents shall 1 (2006) 4 SCC 1
consider and pass appropriate orders on the said representation for regularization of her services in terms of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Umadevi's case (1 supra) within eight weeks thereafter.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
