HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITON No.13855 of 2011 ORDER:

Neither is the Learned Counsel for the petitioner present nor is there any representation on his behalf.

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the action of respondents 1 and 2, in accepting the tender of the 3rd respondent for providing infrastructure facilities to the A.P.T.W. U. Residential Junior College at Damaracherla in Nalgonda District, as illegal and void.

While admitting the Writ Petition on 04.05.2011, this Court refused to interdict the tender process and allotment of the works; and made it clear that any work allotted shall be subject to further orders in the Writ Petition. No interim orders were passed thereafter. Sri K. Ananda Rao, Learned Counsel for the third respondent, would submit that the tender was allotted to the third respondent who provided the infrastructure; and the duration of the work, which was for a period of one year, has already expired. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive necessitating any further adjudication by this Court; and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
