THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION No.24310 OF 2016 ORDER:

Vide the present petition, the petitioners are seeking a direction thereby the respondents not to interfere with in any manner with the possession and enjoyment of the private lands of the petitioners without paying compensation and granting all statutory benefits.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents submits that at any point, if the Government intends to resume the lands of the petitioners, the same shall be done as per law.

3. It is made clear that without issuing notices to the petitioners, their possession over the subject lands shall not be disturbed.
