Petitioner in this writ petition is challenging the award dated 04.08.2000 passed by the Industrial Tribunal cum Labour Court in I.D.No.38 of 1996 in confirming the order of his removal passed by the respondent - Corporation. The present writ petition is filed after a period of eighteen years, without any reasonable explanation for delay. Hence on the ground of latches, the present writ petition is dismissed.
