THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI Writ Petition No.14443 of 2017 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition for Respondents. 2.

According to petitioners, the first petitioner was assigned land to an extent of Ac.4.95 cents in Sy.No.506/2P and the second petitioner was assigned land to an extent of Ac.2.92 cents in Sy.No.6P and third petitioner's husband late D.Sree Ramulu, ex-serviceman, was assigned land to an extent of Ac.4.00 in Sy.No.490/1A and fourth petitioner's mother late T.Neelamma was assigned land to an extent of Ac.1.00 in Sy.No.506/8 of Vikruthamala Village, Yerpedu Mandal, Chittoor District. Petitioners 3 and 4 succeeded to lands assigned in favour of their husband and mother respectively. It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioners that though respondents took possession of the said properties, no compensation has been paid to petitioners herein so far.

It is further stated by the learned counsel that petitioners 1 and 2 have submitted their representation on 22.6.2016 and petitioner No.3 made her representation on 10.2.2017. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for petitioners that petitioner No.4 also will make her representation seeking compensation. Ultimately, a request is made by the learned counsel for petitioners that the said representations may be directed to be considered by respondents herein in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents herein to take appropriate action on representation dated 22.6.2016 submitted by the petitioner Nos.1 and 2 and also on the representation dated 10.2.2017 submitted by the petitioner No.3. The petitioner No.4 herein is permitted to make a representation within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order and if the same is made within the time stipulated, the same may be considered and appropriate action may be taken in accordance with law. The above said exercise shall be completed by respondents herein within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel to it, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
