P.Venatkeshwar Rao v. The General Manager,
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 21436 OF 2004 ORDER :
When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the Writ Petition against the 2nd respondent was dismissed for default, vide orders dated 29.12.2010 and the petitioner has not taken any steps to ensure that the Writ Petition is restored against the 2nd respondent. The grievance of the petitioner in the Writ Petition is that the suspension orders were not revoked and the respondents are not paying the Subsistence Allowance. The petitioner was aged about 51 years at the time of filing this Writ Petition and the petitioner might have retired from service by now, on attaining the age of superannuation. At this point of time, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. 2.
Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
3. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________________ ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI, J 14th December, 2018 GS.
