Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Endowments (Telangana) appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 3 and 5, and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Telangana) appearing for respondent No.4. 2.

An order passed by the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department, Nizamabad, Nizamabad District/respondent No.3 herein vide proceedings in R.Dis.No.C/832/2012, dated 17.08.2012, ordering registration of Sri Hanuman Temple, Bandarpally Village, Bodhan Mandal, Nizamabad District under Section 43 of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act 30 of 1987 is under challenge in the present writ petition. 3.

Evidently, there is a delay of more than five years in approaching this Court by way of the present writ petition. The writ affidavit is also absolutely silent as to the reasons for the said exorbitant delay in filing the writ petition. Therefore, this writ petition is liable to be dismissed on the ground of delay. 4.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed on the ground of latches. There shall be no order as to costs. 5.

Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
