This Criminal Petition, under Section 389 (2) of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/Accused No.1 seeking to release him on bail pending disposal of Crl.A.No.744 of 2018 on the file of II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/Accused No.1, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the respondentState and perused the record. 3.
Though learned counsel for the petitioner/A.1 argued at length, during the course of hearing, he submits that a direction may be given to the learned II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, to dispose of the appeal in Crl.A.No.744 of 2018 expeditiously and on priority basis.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the request of learned counsel for the petitioner/A.1, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the learned II Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Hyderabad, to dispose of Crl.A.No.744 of 2018 pending on its file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order on priority basis.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
