Madduru Shivappa v. The Government Of Andhra Pradesh, Rep. By Its Principal
THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.9230 of 2014 ORDER:
The grievance of the petitioner in this case was that the revenue authorities were not undertaking survey of his land in Survey Nos.1032, 1033 and 1034 of Mahabubnagar Village and Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, pursuant to his representation dated 27.12.2013. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that under letter dated 08.01.2014, the Regional Deputy Director, Survey and Land Records, Hyderabad, informed the District Collector, Mahabubnagar, that he had conducted spot inspection and survey of the land in Survey No.1032 of Mahabubnagar Village on 21.12.2013 in the presence of the revenue officials and the petitioner.
Perusal of the location sketch appended to the said letter dated 08.01.2014 demonstrates that various sub-divisions of land in Survey No.1032 of Mahabubnagar Village were surveyed and demarcated. It is not clear from the aforestated communication as to why survey of the land in Survey Nos.1033 and 1034 of Mahabubnagar Village was not undertaken.
In any event, as a new procedure has been put in place for applying for survey of land, the writ petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to make a proper application in the prescribed format along with the requisite fee if he wants survey of his land in Survey Nos.1033 and 1034 of Mahabubnagar Village to be taken up by the revenue authorities.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
