HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K. LAKSHMAN CRIMINAL PETITION No.4457 OF 2021 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section - 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.') to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.2442 of 2020 pending on the file of Police Station, Cyber Crimes, D.D, CCS, Hyderabad.

2. Heard Sri Prabhakar Sripada, learned Counsel for the petitioner company-Redcarpet Tech Private Limited, and learned Asst.Public Prosecutor for State and perused the record.

3. The Inspector of Police, Cyber Crimes Police Station, Cyberabad Commissionerate has filed counter wherein it is specifically mentioned that the Instant Loan App 'Redcarpet' has not involved in Cr.No.2442 of 2020 of Cyber Crime Police Station, Hyderabad. It is involved in Cr.No.2459 of 2020. In the notice under Section 91 of the Cr.P.C. sent to the petitioner for freezing of the account of the petitioner company herein, it was wrongly typed as Cr.No.2442 of 2020 of Cyber Crime police Station, Hyderabad.

4. Recording the said submission, considering the fact that the petitioner herein is not an accused in Cr.No.2442 of 2020, this Criminal Petition is closed.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
