This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to declare the action of the respondents, in not declaring the results of the petitioners relating to their first to fourth semester examinations of ITI fitter course, as arbitrary and illegal. The petitioners sought for a consequential direction to the respondents to permit the failed candidates among them to appear for supplementary examinations scheduled to be held from 21-01-2016 to 22-022016.

After arguing the case, Mr.CMR.Velu, learned Counsel for the petitioners, requested for permission of the Court to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to his clients to file a review petition against Order, dated 23-07-2015, in WP.No.22800 of 2015.

The request of the learned Counsel for the petitioners is accepted and the Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners in terms of the prayer made.
