This appeal is filed by the appellants/ claimants under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 ('the Act', for brevity), challenging the order, dated 11.10.2004, passed in O.P.No.511 of 1998, by the Chairman, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal-cum-Additional District Judge, Anantapur ('the Tribunal', for brevity).

M.A.C.M.A.M.P.No.3248 of 2005 is filed by the claimants seeking permission to amend Paragraph No.25 of the claim petition filed before the Tribunal by substituting the total claim as 'Rs.2,50,000/ -' instead of 'Rs.2,00,000/ -.' 3 .
Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the record.

It is evident from the record that the Tribunal, after analysing the entire evidence on record, though assessed the compensation payable to the appellants-claimants at Rs.2,20,320/ -, but awarded only Rs.2,00,000/ - as compensation, since their original claim was for Rs.2,00,000/ - only. There are no circumstances to enhance the compensation or to allow the application seeking amendment of claim. 5 .
Accordingly, M.A.C.M.A.M.P.No.3248 of and M.A.C.M.A.No.2196 of 2005 are dismissed. No costs.
