The complaint of the petitioner is that the respondents, particularly 2nd Respondent - Station House Officer, Alwal Police Station, has been interfering with her personal liberty by summoning her to the police station, without due process of law. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Learned Government Pleader for Home (T.S.) has secured written instructions from the 2nd respondent-Sub-Inspector of Police, Alwal Police Station, wherein, it has been stated that based on the complaint given by the 4th respondent herein, a case in Crime No. 298 of 2017, U/H Woman and Child Missing at Alwal P.S. has been registered on 10.05.2017 and investigation has been taken up strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure and during the course of investigation, the complainant-4th respondent suspected one Mallikharjun, who is in-charge of 4th respondent's Harishil Kids School and son of the petitioner, behind the missing of Smt. Sripriya and her daughter Yashashvi, as such, as a part of investigation 2nd respondent deputed one Sri Ramkumar P.C. No.

3023 for summoning Mallikharjun to appear before the 2nd respondent for the purpose of enquiry and accordingly, the said P.C. went to the house of petitioner and requested her for whereabouts of her son Mallikharjun. The allegation of the petitioner that the 2nd respondent Police are coming to her house and subjecting her to severe mental torture is false, baseless and hereby denied.

with her child traced, as such, the presence of the petitioner's son is not required in any manner and no case registered against the petitioner's son with Alwal Police Station as of now. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is closed. The copy of the written instructions has been taken on record. No costs. Consequently, the Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
